No Driveway ALL Day!?

Sooo....glad I'm not the only one with phone call anxiety. I ended up calling the music lady that day and she wasn't home. I left a message and have yet to hear back. That brings me to another pet peeve: I work up the guts to call you and leave an articulate message and you can't call me back? I don't want to have to call again!

Still no communication between my SIL and me about her dye job. I'm trying to forget about it.

Tomorrow I'm stuck in my house all day. Why? Oh, because they are repairing the road in front of my house all day and we will "lose use of our driveway all day". I had a few problems with the notice placed on my door about this.
  1. Where should we park our cars if we wanted/needed to go somewhere?
  2. What is "all day"? 8-4? 9-5? Is there a lunch break?
  3. Is this only a one day job or will it drag on like these things tend to do on military installations?

I have no answers to these questions. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Just to be prepared, I ran all my errands today that I was planning on doing tomorrow. I suppose I don't mind an excuse to stay in the house all day. And I should work on wedding stuff. Or I'll waste the day working through my new stack of library books. I got some good shiz and you can keep up with it over there ==> on my sidebar. I'll try to keep up with it. I'm already 50 pages deep in The Yankee Years. Please don't give me hell if any readers are Yankee-haters.

Anyway, this was pretty rambling. 45 measly days til the wedding. Eek!

She probably has phone anxiety too. I'm sure she'll call back. If not, you can hound her tomorrow since you can't leave the house.

Whenever my road was redone "all day" meant 6 am to 4 am with a long lunch that the guys took sitting in our front yard.
