**I already posted once today so scroll down for that one. It has pictures!**
I got a friend request a little bit ago from some guy named Aaron on myspace. It said he was 26 and from Abilene. He only had one other friend beside Tom and his profile was totally default. I almost denied him from the beginning but thought "hey maybe he knows me somehow or thinks he knows me or maybe he just wants to beef up his friends. whatever, couldn't hurt." So, I accepted his friend request. Like 2 minutes later I get an email saying he sent me a message. I thought "oh no, this can't be good." I gave him the benefit of the doubt tho and thought maybe it was legit. I checked the message and it read: "hey there...whats going on?"
WTF????
I believe that in myspace-land that qualifies as trying to hit on me. Hell, in the real world I'd consider that hitting on me. Or at least being more friendly than I am comfortable with. I was tempted to reply saying "I'm married. The end." but instead I just deleted him from my friends list. I understand (to an extent) guys sending me friend requests because my profile is private and they think maybe my married status is a joke (although this really rarely happens. Maybe twice a year. Maybe.). This dude, though, had access to my full profile. He could look at all the pictures of Brian and I, he could see where Brian is my hero, he could see all my stupid Army icons. I am freaking married. Do not send me "hey what's up" messages!!!! Do you think my deployed husband would be happy with you, some 26 year old dude from Abilene, trying to be my new buddy?? If you don't know that answer, Aaron, lemme tell you: No, he would be furious and want to kick your stupid 26 year old ass! This is one of my internet pet peeves. Just wanted to vent.
