My Computer has been Hijacked...

...by my husband!

Starting yesterday Brian has been furiously trying to complete as many Army classes online as possible. Apparently that looks good when you're trying to get promoted. His computer is out of service since it somehow fell roughly off the giant bean bag onto it's power cord sticking out the back, breaking it. It still has about half a full battery charge, but that wouldn't last long. So...my computer is the only working one around. I even use the term "working" loosely. The power cord no longer charges the battery for some reason and it's so full of junk that it's slower than Brian would like it to be.

Right now he's at work, but he's hoping for a short day so he can come home and commandeer the computer again. I can't wait! *rolls eyes* I sort of don't know what to do with myself when my computer is totally occupied.

Next weekend I head back home for awhile. Brian was supposed to come with, but he's opted to stay here to further prepare for the board. I feel bad for leaving because I'd love to be here with him and try to help in any way I can. I know he'll be ok, though. It might even help if I'm not around to drive him crazy. Now I'm just praying that his replacement power cord arrives ASAP so I don't have to leave my computer here. *crosses fingers*

It's been raining here continually since 1pm yesterday. It isn't supposed to let up until tomorrow. It is absolutely no wonder why everything is green around here. It's actually been awhile since it's done this so I'm not minding it. It's messing with my work out plans (I don't want to run in the rain...), but that's what the wii fit is for. Have I mentioned that my parents are now in the market for a wii and wii fit since they were here and played with mine? I didn't have to do a sales pitch for them or anything. They just played with it and were wii converts! Funny I lived at their house for a year with it and they hardly ever played it, but they come visit me for 2 days and suddenly fall in love. Love's crazy that way, though, right? Ha! I wished them luck finding the wii and the wii fit. It took me months to track down both pieces a year apart. Those suckers are hard to pin down!

I'm not sure what's on my agenda today. I'm afraid to walk away from the computer cause who knows when I'll get on it again after Brian is home! Guess it'll be another lazy day in rainy LA.

TGIF,
S.
