Stupid Hospital

Remember a couple weeks ago when I was having the week from hell? Yeah, I sure do. There wasn't necessarily one thing to blame, but there were a couple big things.

One major thing was a bad test result at the hospital. I'm not going to go into detail because, thankfully, it has all turned out perfectly alright. This bad test result caused a ton of heartache and confusion for both Brian and I. I had to get blood work done which left the mother of all bruises on my arm for 2 weeks (it just went away!). I hate getting blood work done and hadn't in years - no fun! I had to take a bunch of pills and talk to a bunch of people. I had people all up in my bid-ness (translation: business) for a few days.

So, the results from all the tests run after the initial bad test have come back. All signs point to:
the effing hospital MADE A MISTAKE!!!!

All that crap for nothing. Nothing. All the worry and tears and pain for nothing.

Overall, I am grateful that it was nothing like I had been suspecting all along, but I can't help but be angered at the entire process. I thought there were a number of times that it could have been handled better. Whatever I guess.

On a totally different note, I started running again on Monday. The Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning is quickly approaching so I need to step it up so I'll be ready. I'm finding it sorta frustrating, tho, cause I can't seem to get my lungs in shape. I've been battling my lungs my entire life when I really think about it. I'm beginning to think that they may impede my goal to run the entire 5K in November. I'm going to keep my head up, however, and push forward. I'll simply do the best I can.

Whew!

At least you are now throughly aware that there is nothing medically wrong with you. That's got to be good.
