Seasonal Cold: Day 3.

Mom and I are still in rough shape - she more so than I am. I've slept fitfully for about 3 nights now and have gone through at least a half box of tissues. I think I might have peaked (thank God!), but Mom is still miserable. I hope she gets to feeling better soon so we can healthily get into our Taillon family traditions!

The Christmas tree below was a gift from one of Mom's co-workers. It's so adorable, no? The picture doesn't do it justice actually. It is plastic, has an LED light inside that changes colors and - this is the best part - it plugs into the USB port of my computer! I wish I knew where to get my very own. If I had my own, I would probably keep it out year round!

Last night my parents and I went to the local burger joint - Mr. Burger for dinner. It was satisfying and a nice fun night out with my parents. You would never know from the pictures that Mom and I weren't feeling so hot.

I haven't gotten a dang thing accomplished today. I should have wrapped the last two gifts that are sitting on the couch, but I didn't. I actually need to get out of bed and make the dough for some cookies we make every year. I wonder if I can get it done in 17 minutes before Cold Case comes on. Hmm...I'm gonna try. :)
