Choosing to be Strong.

The last of my packages arrived this morning so I should be heading home early Wednesday morning (due to rain all day tomorrow). I am more than ready to be out of here and back to a place full of love and comfort. I have not been having an easy time of late and desperately need some fun and maybe some retail therapy. Oh and baking. I can't forget the baking. I am trying to choose to be happy, but that's always easier said than done. It is hard for me to be so confused and not have a clear answer. I am a problem solver - always have been - but this problem has become bigger and more complicated than I am prepared to conquer. I pray that I wake up tomorrow with a smile on my face. In (hopefully less than) 48 hours I'll be home sweet home.

Tiny had an unexpected trip to the vet this afternoon. I finally got around to bringing his papers to the vet so they could get his info into the computer and I found out that in TX they have 3 year rabies vaccines and here they require them every year. So...he needed a new rabies vaccine along with a couple other things I'm not sure about. It cost $50 which I'm sure is cheaper than it would have cost at home. I like the vet here - the place, not the actual veterinarian. Tiny actually saw this super young guy fresh out of AIT a couple paygrades below Brian. He was awkward and I felt kinda sorry for him. I had to help hold Tiny's front leg so he could draw blood...never had to do that before! Tiny was a very good boy even tho two smaller girl dogs really wanted to investigate him. One of them somehow got off her leash and was in Tiny's bubble in 2 seconds flat. How is it that I have all 155 lbs of Tiny totally in control and restrained and these people can't even keep their dog on a leash. Incompetence I tell you!

The LoveSac arrived today. Correct LoveSac, Incorrect LoveSac cover. I emailed them about the problem and haven't heard back yet. I am hoping this can be resolved while I'm in TX cause I am not waiting around here to fix it, that's for dang sure.

Tiny got his first spittle wad on the new TV in the bedroom. It's been about 5 days. Geez Tiny! I need to get some cleaner up here to take care of it before it becomes permanent.

Well, I have a list of things I wanted to get accomplished today and so far I've only done one of them (the vet) so I better get cracking before my shows start at 7.
