A. Attached or single? Attached. I've been attached to someone for the majority of my post-pubescent life.
B. Best friend? I hate this question. I don't really do well with friends. I have found they always let you down at some point. The only people I consider to be my best friends are related to me by blood or marriage.
C. Cake or pie? That's a tough one. I am in love with the chocolate cake I made for my birthday, but I also have quite a soft spot for my mom's apple pie or chocolate pudding in a graham cracker crust. Mmmm!
D. Day of choice? I like Fridays - especially Friday afternoons. You have the entire weekend ahead of you. You can stay up as late as you want and sleep as late as you want the next morning. Plus, in the fall, there's usually a good high school football game going on in West Texas.
E. Essential item? Glasses and/or contacts. I'm pretty useless without them.
F. Favorite color? Blue. I used to think I was unique because I was a girl who liked the color blue. I am finding that blue is a pretty popular favorite color. So much for being unique!
G. Gummy bears or worms? Sour gummy worms. One of my favorite candies!
H. Hometown? Plattsburgh, NY. I love not being born in the middle of Texas like almost everyone else that lives here. I love being a Yankee and being born closer to the Canadian border than the Mexican border.
I. Indulgence? Shoes. I have $130 cowboy boots although I do nothing cowboy-like. I have $80 boat shoes although I haven't been on a boat in years. I have about 6 pairs of heels although I have nowhere to wear them. I love every single pair tho.
J. January or July? I wonder if anyone answers January. July is the obvious winner. It is summer which signified long, lazy, school-free days. It is hot and being outside for 15 minutes darkens your tan. July is a good month.
K. Kids? No biological kids. I have a big black dog, though, who might as well be my kid. I'm sure there will be little mini-Sarahs at some point in the future.
L. Life isn’t complete without? Love. All kinds of love.
M. Marriage date? September 21, 2007.
N. Number of brothers & sisters? One younger brother.
O. Oranges or apples? Apples, apples, apples. I love apples.
P. Phobias? Getting stuck in clothes - especially if I don't own them. Also, throwing up.
Q. Quotes? "Love is patient, love is kind..." "Those three words are said too much, they're not enough." "Nobody puts Baby in the corner..." "I am NOT Hootie..." "These mashed potatoes are so creamy..." "These pretzels are making me thirsty!" "...all the chocolate eating..."
R. Reasons to smile? Phone calls from around the world, chocolate cake, new shoes, family, good movies, waves crashing on the sand, rain.
S. Season of choice? The transition seasons: spring and fall. You are never shivering or sweating. You can wear your entire wardrobe due to the fluctuating temperatures. The days are pleasant and make you want to be outside all day.
T. Tag seven peeps! No thanks. Do it if you want to.
U. Unknown fact about me? I can't (or won't ) dive into a pool. I am a horribly nervous passenger. I hate taking out the trash. I love the ends of happily-ever-after movies. I love watching baseball, tennis, high school football and anything in the olympics but I hate watching basketball, soccer and mostly professional football.
V. Vegetable? Potatoes and corn: two of my favorite foods and the only two veggies I eat.
W. Worst habits? Procrastinating on everything. Cursing. Obsessive TV watching. Not flossing my teeth on a regular basis.
X. X-ray or ultrasound? Either? I've never had an ultrasound, but they're both painless, right?
Y. Your favorite food? Pasta. Gnocchi. A good slice of pizza. Cheeseburger.
Z. Zodiac sign? Virgo.
