Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My resolution last year was to work out 120 days of the year...didn't happen. I did, however, keep track of every book I finished in 2010. I finished 32 books this year. Pretty good, I think! Next year I'll continue to keep track of the books I read. Other than that my only goal is to kick grad school's butt. I should be 3/4 of the way through my degree by this time next year so I have my work cut out for me in 2011!
What countries did you visit?
None. I kinda like America.
What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A sense of purpose.
What date(s) from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
1. October 30th -- the day I said goodbye to Brian.
2. November 4th -- the day I cleared housing and moved back to TX.
3. November 22nd -- Tiny's last day with us.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Fixing our marriage. Hands down.
What was your biggest failure?
Ignoring the problems in our marriage until it boiled over and couldn't be ignored anymore.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing really out of the ordinary...just my acne flaring up because I went off birth control and a caffeine sensitivity that threw me out of whack for the last few weeks.
What was the best thing you bought?
My iPhone 4.
Where did most of your money go?
Student loans and truck payments...again. Same as last year.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Nothing really. Football games, maybe. Or Christmas.
What song(s) will always remind you of 2010?
1. Need You Now by Lady Antebellum
2. Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars
3. Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri
Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?
Sadder. I miss Brian. And Tiny.
ii. thinner or fatter?
Thinner.
iii. richer or poorer?
Money wise: Poorer. Only because I paid the truck off. Ask me again in a few months and the answer will be different.
Life wise: Richer. I have a better relationship with my husband and I feel like I've grown up a lot.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
Travel.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Obsessively watch TV series on Netflix and/or Hulu.
Did you fall in love in 2010?
I think I fell in love with Brian all over again through our marital struggles. I'm thankful it wasn't the other way around.
How many one-night stands?
Never ever. ((I really should just delete this questions...the answer never changes.))
What was your favorite TV program?
I have a lot: Lost, Life Unexpected, Gossip Girl, Nikita, House, CSI, Friday Night Lights, Intervention, Hoarders, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Glee, The Vampire Diaries, Hawaii Five-0, Parenthood, Hellcats, Bones, Blue Bloods, The Office, Community...I told you it was a lot.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

What was your favorite film of this year?

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went out to eat at a chicken joint in my hometown and ate Coldstone ice cream cake. I turned 25.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

What kept you sane?
Family. Always family.

Everyone I love most at one point or another.
Who was the best new person you met?
No new people this year.
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
1. Sometimes you have to ask for help and it's OK.
2. Moving is hard. Harder than you think.
Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Living without you
Living alone
This empty house seems so cold
Wanting to hold you
Wanting you near
How much I wanted you home
"Open Arms" by Journey
Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone
So leave a message at the tone
Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything
"The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars
Life was Divine in 2009
Life was Great in 2008
Life was Heaven in 2007
