We're about 1/3 of the way through this deployment. It has gone by pretty fast, and school is definitely speeding things up. We still have a ways to go until R&R, but I know that'll sneak up on me.
In the meantime I'll keep cherishing our daily Skype chats and being grateful for random emails containing pictures like this:
He's never seen so much snow in his life...and he's hating it!
I miss him.
