Perks of Deployment

I can listen to One Direction (no judging!) rather loudly while cleaning and organizing the office.

I can eat cereal for dinner.

I can sleep diagonally in the bed (how I woke up this morning).

I can watch chick flicks (The Last Song) on a Saturday afternoon.

I can yell at football games on TV (A&M vs. OU last night) without disturbing anyone.

I know there will still be Oreos in the pantry when I get home from work.

I can stretch and do squats in the middle of the living room without judgment.

I can read in bed before going to sleep.

I don't have to see the in-laws every time I go home.

Of course, I would give up every one of these things to have Brian here with me.

One more day of vacation and then back to work. Already counting down to my next long weekend!
