The Good
- Promotion points came out today and Brian has more than enough points to be promoted on September 1st! He works so hard and more than deserves this. I'm crazy proud of him.
- We are finally on the homestretch of this deployment. Counting the weeks until he should be home isn't quite as depressing as it used to be.
- My birthday is Friday. I'll be 26 on the 26th.
- High school football starts this weekend.
The Bad
- I got us back on the housing list in LA two weeks ago. I keep waiting for that phone call telling me they have a house for me. We are lower priority because we moved out of housing for this deployment (total opposite of how they did it last time). It's starting to stress me out.
- School starts on Monday.
- My birthday is on Friday. I don't want to be 26.
The Ugly
- My brother and I aren't speaking right now. The reasons are much too personal for this blog. It has literally thrown my entire world out of whack and made me question the type of person I am and my expectations of other people. I've been struggling with this constantly for the past week. I'm still unsure of what will happen or where we will go from here.
